IMPACT STATEMENT

Girl-led Advisor

OUR STORY SO FAR…

Sisterhood creates pathways for confident changemakers to drive meaningful change. We believe design is the vehicle to revolutionise social and educational inequality through our community of confident changemakers. We are now looking for senior-level confident changemaking advisors to join our team and help us achieve our vision for growth.

Sisterhood was coined as ‘The best initiative to come out of Central Saint Martins’ by the Dean of CSM in 2015. As graduates we took the bold leap into founding a kitchen table idea and incorporated it in 2017. We are multifaceted creative entrepreneurs, stepping into our 5th year of creating various pathways for confident changemakers. We are taking our first steps to accelerated growth and scaling the business - expanding our reach and wholeheartedly taking up space in local and global markets as we expand the team and each region we operate in.

We are looking forward to welcoming a team of changemaking advisors, who with your expertise will come together and share the opportunities, step into our different roles and make us stronger as a collective to move toward actions that will achieve our bigger vision.

Guide Girl-led meaningful change

This is an invitation for a changemaker with proven experience of working in the girl’s rights and education space, practised systems framework knowledge to tackle gender equality and has grown or been part of a growing organisation to be part of Sisterhood.

At this stage of your career, you have established yourself as an expert working at a senior/C-suite level for a youth/girl led organisation, or a senior level consultant who has worked with a variety of girl-led orgs where you have been responsible for executive-level strategy, business development and client relationships e.g. on a policy/government level.

You’re looking to make your mark with an organisation that you believe has real potential for growth and scalable impact; and would like to apply your strategic and creative talents to guide their growth and support them to make progress towards building a global Sisterhood.

The impact you can expect to make at Sisterhood:

Empowering Sisterhood to get to the heart of girls rights and issues via our programmes and offerings.

Enable Sisterhood to make their mark through their business strategy

Supporting Sisterhood to be the go-to organisation for girls and gender-expanding youth, leading systemic change on girls’ rights - with girls’ insights.

You will do this through:

  • Reviewing and challenge Sisterhood on how we can design our programmes (that meet girls behaviours, wants and needs) to scale without compromising impact.

  • Educating and advising Sisterhood Programmes and processes so they culturally fit and grow into international development.

  • Establishing Sisterhood’s business model to move towards working on a systems level

  • Spreading the word and spotlighting Sisterhoods’ work to relevant networks

  • Connecting Sisterhood to new spaces to support their overall growth ambitions

Applications close: 24th March
