 FAQs

  • Currently we have mainly worked within Greater London, but have also worked with schools & youth organisations from Brighton to Manchester.

We definitely have plans for scaling beyond the UK as well, and will be working with our Scaling and systems Advisor in our programme & business strategy to work internationally.

  • We are looking for 1 advisor per role, therefore the advisory board will be a total of 4 advisors.

All advisors will be required to attend quarterly board meetings, 2-3 ad hoc or project specific meetings (depending on your role) and required to read and prep for the board meetings ahead of time.

  • We want our changemaking advisors to not only exemplify 21st century business, but to represent the places where we and our changemakers live and work through diversity of ethnicity, culture, identity, orientation, age and ability.

We will continue to embark on our own DEI journey as individuals and as an organisation, setting out to intentionally get to the heart and shift our own biases and beliefs.

We understand that not everyone has the privilege of education and experience to meet all qualifications we look for in a changemaking advisor, and we are committed to tailoring our talent development to the individual needs of each changemaker with a pathway that best sets them up for success.

  • There is a shift in working in the business vs. working on the business.

Therefore we see the role of all of our advisors to gain an understanding and guide on a birds-eye level at Sisterhood; which often is not possible to do when you are working on the day to day goals of the business.
